Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Children with Cancer Benefit from Eighth Annual
Women in Business Conference

Event Proven to Increase Participants' Exposure, Profile and Network - All While
Changing Businesses and Lives

(March 16, 2007) Rockville, MD - For eight years, the Women in Business Conference,
sponsored by the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, has proven to increase exposure,
profiles and networks for local professionals who attended and 2007 is following
that same trend. After participating in the Conference, and other events sponsored
by the Rockville Chamber, Merrily Ansell, Founder and President of Books, Bears and
Bonnets, has experienced the success first hand after being able to expand her
cancer-care package business from adult patients to include children in only four
years.

"When I started this venture in my sister's honor nearly six years ago, I never
imagined the Women in Business Conference would have helped us expand as quickly as
we have" said Ansell. "Participating in the Conference gave us visibility; people
saw, read and liked what we did. They wanted to donate time, talent and money to
help us grow. Now we are able to deliver our hand-made baskets to children
undergoing cancer treatment in 26 area hospitals."

Books, Bears and Bonnets, a 501(c)3, is one of hundreds of organizations and
businesses who have benefited from the day-long conference held during Women's
History Month every year. With nearly 1000 participants at the 2006 conference,
members of the business community are able to take advantage of the various
speakers, workshops, networking opportunities and expert advice to help bring their
organizations to the next level.

"Eight years ago I founded the conference to help give women business building tools
and other resources to assist them in their professions," stated Nancy Regelin,
Chairwoman and Founder of the Conference. "It is gratifying to see participation
increase every year, and know that the Conference isn't only helping for-profit
organizations, but non-profits as well."

This year's conference will feature seminars on building a start-up, Web marketing,
networking, propelling women in technology, lead generation and other important
topics vital for entrepreneurs.

Ansell continued, "When I see the look on the children's faces when they receive
their baskets full of books, toys and other items, I know I've received the ultimate
reward. I am so thankful to have attended the Conference."

The event will also feature a "Lucy Booth," modeled after the Peanuts' character
where participants can seek expert advice on topics ranging from finances and
banking, to legal issues and conference management.

Other presenters looking to change people's lives at the Conference are: Mary
Cantando, the Keynote speaker and author, The Woman's Advantage; Alan Kelly, author,
The Elements of Influence; Jeanne Rossomme, owner of RoadMap Marketing; Claudia
Morrell, Director of Center for Women and Information Technology; Julie Lenzer Kirk,
President of Path Forward; and Matt Hankes, Vice President of Fedmarket.com.

"The Conference's success is based on the success of its participants," remarked
Regelin, who is also an attorney at Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker, PA, a
Rockville based law firm. "When organizations like Books, Bears and Bonnets have
achieved such a great feat, we know the Conference is doing what we intended for it
to do."

The Conference is being held at The Montgomery County Conference Center, 5701
Marinelli Road, Rockville, MD, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Rockville Chamber of Commerce: The Rockville Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is
organized to promote an economic environment wherein Rockville City businesses,
non-profit institutions, government, and citizens can actively work together under
the free enterprise system to promote orderly growth and prosperity. The Chamber,
through its activities, provides a forum for the reflection of the business
community's sentiments regarding matters affecting its interests, and informs the
public about the views, concerns and activities of the business community.

The Women in Business Conference: The Women in Business Conference and Tradeshow was
conceived in 1999 as a means to give women the tools needed to achieve their
entrepreneurial career goals without bounds. The idea was to have women walk away
from the Conference with the education, motivation and inspiration to fuel their
minds and spirits. Since then, every year the Conference has grown and built more
strategic alliances with other businesses and women\'s organizations including
Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI), Montgomery County Department of
Economic Development, Women Business Owners (WBO), Business and Professional Women
(BPW), Montgomery County Commission for Women, Montgomery College and the Small
Business Administration (SBA).
